Uncomfortable Brunch presents Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf at Will’s Pub
March 10 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm$12
March, statistically, has the most divorces of all the months. We feel that this is something we can’t let go by without celebrating.
Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf is practically autobiographical of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s relationship. Angry bickering intensifies as the night goes on, and more alcohol in consumed. One of the best films Mike Nichols ever made was also his first feature.
This is the oldest film we have ever shown for Uncomfortable Brunch. It will be a good one.
This month’s menu, prepared by Mr. Danny Alvarez of The Nook:
Chicken maple sausage, spinach, feta, cherry tomatoes, green onions scramble,
Sweet potato hash
Vegan banana nut waffles
Framework Craft Coffee House will be on site to provide craft coffee and tea to take care of all of your caffeine needs.
Each month brunch is at Will’s Pub where we will enjoy the most pleasant of weekend social activities… brunch.
We then juxtapose that with the most unpleasant social activity… watching an academically important but ridiculously uncomfortable art film that every film lover SHOULD watch, just doesn’t necessarily WANT to watch with a group. It is fun.
