Virtual 9-Week Art Class: Landscape Painting Using Reference Photography

A 9-week long virtual art class that centers on the interpretation and translation of the Floridian landscape using reference photography.

This class will focus on the fundamentals of painting materials, color mixing, form, and technique to develop and realize a total of four paintings. The landscape/setting will be of the students’ choosing, with each painting anchored in different prompts and approaches to the subject matter, but loosely following the themes and goals as guided by the instructor.
Beginning Drawing, Intro to Acrylics, Design Fundamentals, or other similar courses are recommended prerequisites.

Class Times: Mondays, 11 AM – 1 PM EST
