What’s Up Downtown: A Look at Downtown’s Past

Join us for What’s Up Downtown on Thursday, March 3 at 8:30 a.m. at the Downtown Information Center. Take a step back in history as we embark on a 45-minute Historic Walking Tour around Downtown Orlando. Along the way, you’ll hear from multiple guest speakers: Michael Perkins, Executive Director of both the Historical Society and Orange County Regional History Center; Richard Forbes, Historic Preservation Officer with the City of Orlando; and character appearances from members of Orlando Remembered. The tour will conclude at the Orange County Regional History Center with speech about the Historic Courtroom. Afterwards, everyone is invited for a complimentary visit to see all of the exhibits.
It is strongly recommended you wear comfortable walking shoes.
