#WKPH25, Spring Session

Richard Auger will discuss general methods and his own artistic approach to photographing Florida landscapes prior to an instructor-led field trip. Exploring rarely photographed areas on water and by foot, students will have the opportunity to create visually compelling photographs representing landscapes of Florida. Students will present their work during a constructive review session that will be scheduled for a future date.

Richard Auger, a contemporary fine art photographer based in Orlando, makes his living traveling the country and displaying his black-and-white photographs of Florida’s disappearing wilderness. His best-known photo series is titled “Florida Noir” and has been honored with more than $52,000 in awards since late 2010. He uses both digital and analogue cameras to capture his monochrome and color images.
