Zora 2020 Presents – Full STEAM Ahead: B.O.T Modern AfroFuturism Panel

Afrofuturism is a modern explosion of art, science, and technology pioneered by melanin powered realities. Afrofuturism represents both African heritage and black self-actualization. The word was created by Mark Dery in a fictional context to honor black creators. However, in 2020 it’s clear that the future we once fantasized about is now our norm.

In the honor of a true pioneer Zora Neale Hurston, Black Orlando Tech is collaborating with the Zora Neale Hurston Festival to bring together a revolutionary panel to address a revolutionary topic.
