Re:Charge – a live music event to help you rest and reflect

In collaboration with Timucua Arts Foundation – Relax in your own personal square (yoga mat and pillow/blanket suggested) while live orchestral musicians serenade you with relaxing and ambient music. Music director Chris Belt uses time-based sound art to create an arc through juxtaposition of timbres and styles. The relaxing environment is curated by Creative City Project founder Cole NeSmith. Community Fruit Tree Revitalization

What: Three years ago, our community planted 100+ fruit trees in Orlando to improve our communal resiliency and local access to healthy food. We'll be teaming up again to revitalize these public fruit trees and tend them with compost, mulch etc. There will be a short educational workshop about how to care for already planted fruit trees followed by community action around Winter Park. For nearly four decades, this summer social, hosted by Vincent Sansone, Ceramics Studio Manager, and Senior Faculty Member, brings smart shoppers and collectors to the main campus to browse through hundreds of one-of-a-kind ceramic cups, bowls, and other vessels handmade by Crealdé instructors, artists, students, and friends. As the tradition goes, buy a cup or goblet and it will be filled. Proceeds benefit upgrades to the Ceramics studio and kilns.
