The All-Star Buffalo Mural was installed on the Orange Studio building this morning. It is a collaboration between ArtReach Orlando and artist Boy Kong.

ArtReach Orlando (Facebook | Website) is an arts outreach nonprofit that connects artists and children in different communities. The mural piece is a celebration of the organization’s program participants and community partners.

Earlier this year, ArtReach Orlando invited about 10 of their All-Star students to participate in a workshop with Orlando-based street artist Boy Kong. They created the pieces in the middle of the mural, which represent each student’s favorite things. The pieces range from pizza slices to ballet slippers.

Boy Kong completed his work on the buffalo in late December and the piece was installed this morning ouside of Julio Lima’s The Orange Studio, 1121 Mills Ave. [Gmap]

A public unveiling is being held on Sunday, January 11 at 4 p.m. The All-Star participants and Boy Kong will be in attendance and available for photos.
