Bungalower Media is teaming up with Cookies (Instagram | Website), one of Orlando’s top yoga teachers, Sarah Burnett (Instagram), and medical marijuana mentor Mandy Harlan (Instagram) to host a series of guided yoga experiences centered around cannabis and good vibes that we’re calling “YogaHigh.” It launches on January 24 at The Acre Orlando (Facebook | Website).
The new YogaHigh series is open to Medical Marijuana cardholders only and eventgoers can order their medicine ahead of time from our sponsoring dispensary, Cookies, to be ready for pickup (and consumption) at the event, but you’re also welcome to bring your own preferred brand, as long as it is in its original, labeled container with your prescription being clearly visible.
Before the yoga workshop begins at 5:45 p.m., Harlan will lead the group through an educational workshop about cannabis, our sponsoring dispensary and some of their offerings, and share some tips to have an amazing experience at the event, which is also scheduled to take place on February 7 and 28, and March 6 and 27.
MCO Resources (Website) will be on hand to help those who do not have their Medical Marijuana card to apply remotely, ahead of the event, on a reservation basis. They will also be in attendance during the workshops so you or your friends will be ready for the next event. Simply make your reservation on their website and mention “YogaHigh” when they call you to confirm your appointment to save $50 on your appointment fee.
Here’s how you can unwind and exhale the Cookies x Bungalower way when ordering your prescription online.
- All purchases must be made through the Cookies Florida website through the Orlando menu: https://cookiesflorida.co/orlando
- Only those with VALID FLORIDA MMJ cards may participate. If you are not yet a medical marijuana card holder, an MMJ doctor will be on-site during the event for you to register (allowing you to pre-order for our next event).
- When checking out, on the Cookies website, ensure to select ‘Delivery’ as your order pickup method. It will prompt you to select one of three available dates for delivery. If 1/24/24 is not an available date to select, do not worry! Use the code ‘YogaHigh’ under ‘Special Instructions’ for the Cookies team to identify your order as part of our event. This code must be used regardless of the selected delivery date for the Cookies team to identify the order as event-related.
- Orders can be paid for using CanPay. For the safety of the delivery team, cash will not be collected on-site. If you do not yet have a CanPay account, you can create one here: https://www.canpaydebit.com/
- Physical med cards will be checked alongside your I.D. on location the night of the event to verify your identity, be sure to bring them!
- PRE-ORDERS WILL BE AVAILABLE UP UNTIL 8 PM on Tuesday, January 23rd
All pre-orders will be available for pickup at check-in when the event starts. You will not be allowed to share prescriptions with other attendees, and must only use your own prescription during the event.
