I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT

Orlando’s big gay blockbuster Pride event, Come Out With Pride (Website) , is back this year in downtown Orlando, following a mostly virtual event last year due to the pandemic.

The main event will take place noon Saturday, October 9, through 9:30 p.m. at Lake Eola with a festival around the park complimented by the annual Come Out With Pride parade which kicks off at 4 p.m. and lasts until next year. Just kidding, it’ll be done in time for the fireworks.

This year’s grand marshals include a whole gaggle of queer icons, local and otherwise, like Blue Star, trans BMX Freestyler Chelsea Wolfe, Brandon Wolf, Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet, and Trina Gregory-Propst from Se7enbites.

The festival will also be headlined by RuPaul’s Drag Race alums Gottmik and Kylie Sonique Love. Other events this weekend include a screening of Showgirls hosted by comedians Jeff Jones and Sabrina Ambra, performances at Haos on Church and Southern Nights, a leather night at Savoy, and much more.
