This year’s blockbuster charity event Cows ‘n’ Cabs (Website) in Winter Park broke records with a whopping $1,020,000 raised overnight.
In its 11th year, the event attracted 3,171 guests to enjoy food and drink samples from over 120 food and drink stations, including fancy lounges hosted by Patron, Woodford Reserve, and Crown Royal. For added perspective, the event has succeeded in raising $2.1 million total in the past 10 years.
The annual fundraising event was co-founded by John Rivers and ABC Fine Wine and Spirits’ Dave Larue, and takes place in Winter Park’s Central Park and features live music on two separate bands and a massive circus tent. This year’s proceeds will be donated to local charities After School All Stars Orlando (Website), John River’s own charity 4 Roots (Website), and Winter Park Day Nursery (Website).
Next year’s event is scheduled for November 9, 2024.
