PAPA LLAMA POP-UP AT THE APEX PHOTO VIA EAST END MARKET

East End Market is converting its APEX event venue the second floor of its Audubon Park food hub into a new chef’s table/retail space.

As first reported by Orlando Weekly‘s Faiyaz Kara, the space will be converted into a new chef’s table/incubator space with a cocktail lounge and retail space headed by Johnny and Jimmy Tung, Domu’s Sonny Nguyen, and Jacob Zepf of Freehand Goods.

The retail component, run by Zepf, will be called The Neighbors (Instagram) and will feature goods by over 30 Central Florida-grown retailers and the chef’s table will be operating on the banner of “Domu Lab” and will host a rotating series of pop-up chefs at an eight-seat long table, as discussed in this post below by Domu corporate.

The buildout for the new collaborative effort is expected to be completed by this fall.
