Opera Orlando (Facebook | Website) will be hosting its production of Die Fledermaus: The Revenge of the Bat at The Dr. Phillips Center this week, making it the first full indoor operatic production in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

The performing arts center has stated that it has established strict protocols to ensure a safe environment for its guests, as described below.

The production will be sung in English with English dialogue and supertitles and has a run time of two hours and 30 minutes with one intermission. Ticket holders also get access to a free pre-show lecture before each performance, featuring the conductor and the stage director.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 17, and 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19. Tickets start at $19 and are available HERE for purchase.
