The Orange County Regional History Center (Facebook | Website) has been charged by the City of Orlando and Orange County, to serve as the official collecting agency for all items having to do with the Orlando Pulse shooting.

According to the Museum Manager, Michael Perkins, the city will be putting out signs to indicate that collection will begin shorty,  perhaps as early as tomorrow morning (Friday, June 24). History Center staff will be out in the field for the next few weeks, collecting items from the memorials to store at the History Center. We’re hearing that the main focus will be on the cards and letters left at each location. Obviously this will be a long-term process as donations continue to be left at sites all across the City.

There will be more details to share in the upcoming days.

  1. I’d be happy to send a print of the artwork. It seems like the specific details haven’t been announced yet? I’ll just need to know when and where to send 🙂
