Page 15 (Facebook | Website), an Orlando-based children’s literacy nonprofit, has recently announced a new opportunity for students to make their voices heard.

The program’s ninth annual high school writing contest—a real-world editing and publishing opportunity for central Florida students—is officially underway with this year’s theme: Water.

For its ninth annual high school writing contest, Page 15 has partnered with Nate Douglas (Facebook), the youngest member of the Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District. Douglas, a graduate of Apopka High School, was recently elected to public office at the age of nineteen on a platform to tackle several issues including water pollution, deforestation, and climate change.

High school students interested in submitting to Page 15’s ninth annual high school writing contest can do so by visiting page15.org/contest to view their full prompt and submit their writing by February 26th.
