Snap! Orlando (Facebook | Website) will be hosting a special exhibition of the work of Orlando Sentinel‘s celebrated former photojournalist, Red Huber, on October 8 in their downtown gallery.

The exhibit, titled “Eyewitness,” will feature work from Huber’s 46-year career documenting Central Florida, from the Space Shuttle program to the Pulse shootings, up to his retirement in 2018.

“I am humbled and honored that Patrick and Holly Kahn, curators of Snap! Orlando are featuring my collection of images in their contemporary gallery. It will be amazing to see my black & white and color photographs which I have made as a photojournalist presented in a large-scale format. To me, each of these storytelling moments gives a retrospective history and a slice of life view into our central Florida community, and beyond.”

The exhibition is presented in collaboration with Orlando Sentinel and will be on display through January 22 at Snap! Downtown Gallery, located at 420 E. Church Street [GMap].

  1. Dear Brendan, great story. Can’t wait to see this but, what kinda bail money is this? “Anthony’s $500,0000 bail was posted yesterday.” Jk. Thank you for the story and the heads up! Looking forward to visiting this exhibition. Great capture of history.
    Cheers, Markymark
