Soco Thornton Park (Facebook | Website) first opened in the former Hue Restaurant at 629 E Central Boulevard [GMap] back in September 2014, just nine years ago.

The popular restaurant, led by Chef Greg Richie, has made a name for itself through the years for its contemporary takes on Southern cuisine with rotating hit dishes like lobster mashed potatoes and deviled duck eggs on the menu.

In recognition of its nine years of business this month, Soco will be featuring a number of its most popular dishes from previous years in a three-course, prix fixe menu. The dinner, which runs for $45 with an optional add-on wine pairing for $20, features dishes like boiled peanut hummus, cornmeal-crisped oysters, creole-spiced shrimp and grits with okra, and chicken-fried cauliflower steak.

The special anniversary menu will be available until the end of the month.
