The Daily City (Website) brought food truck bazaars and the popular Orlando Flea series to Orlando. Now they’re breaking into farmers markets.

Daily City owner Mark Baratelli actually threw his hat into the ring for the Downtown Orlando Farmers Market Manager gig back in 2017, but it was awarded to Red Top Productions instead. Two years later, Baratelli seems to be ready to go solo and bring his own take on a farmers market to Orlando; the Downtown Indoor Farmers Market (Website).

The new market will follow in the form of the Orlando Flea series and be hosted in the two-story Celine venue, which is located at 22 S. Magnolia Avenue [GMap] in Downtown Orlando. Which means air conditioning and bartenders on-hand.

A one-day proof-of-concept event will be held on Sunday, June 9 from noon-4 p.m. featuring local food vendors, hot prepared lunches, a full bar, live music, and more. If the event does well, Baratelli has said there will be more.
