Downtown Orlando to go full-snowflake for the holidays

The Community Redevelopment Agency is requesting they be allowed to spend $197,858 to purchase new decorations for the Central Business District. The decorations, 242 snowflakes measuring 42 inches in diameter, would replace the current decorations that are over twenty years old. The purchase is subject to review by the City Attorney’s Office.
