We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

“Have you heard who is going into the empty restaurant spot in Winter Park Village?”

– Aubrey Walker

Bar Louie (Facebook | Website) will open a new location in the Winter Park Village later this year.

The contemporary/casual bar and restaurant chain has three other locations in Central Florida, including Dr. Philips, Union Park, and near the Orlando International Airport. They are known for their martinis, cocktails, and beer selection.

Their food menu features flatbreads, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and shareables. Click HERE to see the menu.

Bar Louie will open in the former home of Mitchell’s Fish Market, located at 460 N. Orlando Avenue [GMap].

An opening date has not been announced.
