Mayor Buddy Dyer will be in attendance at the grand opening of the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida’s Men’s Service Center at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28. They ask that you sign up by email at [email protected] if you plan on attending.

The new Men’s Service Center (Website) can house up to 250 individuals and will offer homeless men key services and the support they need to achieve a better quality of life.

Studies show that single men are often the most underserved segment of the homeless population. The Center will offer case management services including substance abuse recovery, counseling, education, and job skills training, as well as dormitory-style accommodations for men in need.
