Snap! Space (Website) will host two out-of-town photographers at their February 2 exhibition, Shabazz | Theodore.

Brooklyn-native Jamel Shabazz has been photography the streets and street fashion of New York for the past 40 years. Shabazz is currently working on a book called, “The Book of Life.”

Shawn Theodore is a Philadelphia-based artist that works in photography, video, and collage with a practice that focuses on the fragmentation and manipulation of African American and African Disasporan identities and otherness.

The opening night event will take place 7-10 p.m. at the Snap!Space Gallery on Friday, February 2. This is a free event.
