A Conditional Use Permit has been filed for an empty retail space at 2405 East South Street in the Milk District [GMap]. The venue is in the same complex as parent company Southern Nights, which applied for an ABL on July 2016. The space once previously used as medical offices.

The CUP was filed to allow for the operation of a bar selling alcohol within 1,000 feet of a church or school. The working name of the project is “Boutique Bar.”

According to employees of Southern Nights, the current concept for Boutique Bar is a gay craft cocktail lounge. We’ve been unable to reach Southern Nights owner, Rick Kowalzyk, to confirm.
