The much awaited The Strand (Website) restaurant opens today at 807 N. Mills Ave.
We told you about The Strand opening in Mills 50 back in August and now they are open in the former Chuck’s Diner location.
The restaurant right now is only open for lunch in the February it will be open for lunch and dinner.
The hours of operation for The Strand currently are Tuesday through Saturday 11:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m.
They will begin taking reservations for dinner when they begin dinner service in February.

Apparently the website is Up too although Alda said it’s not exactly the way they hope it will evolve……
We went today…really, really good! Good selection of wines and beer…we each tried a different dessert….both were wonderful….this place is a keeper! Put in on your list for lunch….dinners will start sometime in February they said.

Actually just found out it’s 3 p.m. for now. Soon they will open for dinner.
I went there for a preview night a few weeks ago….good is great…think reasonable American bistro with a foodie twist. Very excited, there has been a hole since Logan’s left the area and the Strand is going to fill that and then some…it’s great! (PS – I have no affiliation to this restaurant – just tried it and liked it!)

Totally thought this was a hair salon based on the name. I am glad you wrote this article. Now I know! Another place to try!
