The owner of Wally’s Mills Avenue Liquors (Website), Minesh Patel, is hoping to add a patio to the popular Mills 50 watering hole.
The building underwent a massive renovation/restoration in 2019 when it changed ownership and then had its original Mills-facing window restored in January 2020 when we revealed Patel’s intention to add an outdoor patio.
That time has apparently come and Patel’s team has filed the following plans with the City of Orlando to add not only a patio onto the original building with a permanent awning, but also to add windows to the southwestern corner of the building, add exterior seating, and increase the footprint of the building by an additional 1,900 SF to allow for additional “bar and restaurant function.”
Plans are subject to change.
