Pho K5 Vietnamese Restaurant in the Milk District [GMap] closed its doors on November 1 and will soon be replaced by Saigon Noodle and Grill.
The former owners decided to retire from business and their daughter, Julie Nguyen, chose to pursue a career in real estate rather than continue in the restaurant business.
See our report back in 2013 when Pho K5 first opened in the former Medina’s Grocery building by clicking HERE.
Saigon Noodle and Grill (Website) already has an Orlando location on Goldenrod [GMap] but will be opening a second restaurant in the former Pho K5 space later in the year. An opening date has yet to be released.
Editor’s Note: Big thanks to Bungalower reader Kimberley Blackfisch Kenney for the heads up on this story.
Definitely too many. We need unique Asian restaurants. It’s pretty much all the same here in Orlando.
This makes me the saddest
Pho Hoa is the only place that matters anywho…
Sad it’s gone – we loved that place!
Yea took Ray by there last week and ran into that problem …. We had to hit PHO Vihn but there good also ….
Awfully sad. Julie and Eric ran the best place for pho. So sad….
There’s always “po ho” up the street!
There are starting to be too many Pho and Thai restaurants. The market is saturated. The last time I went to the one on Primrose, it was empty except for my table.
Bummer, I used to eat there several times a month.
