UCF’s Nearly Headless Knights quidditch team has just announced that they will be attending the US Quidditch Cup in Round Rock Texas this April.
The local broom-riders swept up at the South Regional games in Tuscaloosa, Alabama this past month with four wins and no losses.
Quidditch has origins in the Harry Potter book series but has taken on a new life with collegiate teams participating in the sport across the country. It is a co-ed, full-contact sport.
