The College Park Main Street will be hosting a special dog-centric festival this Saturday, June 29 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. along Edgewater Drive.
The event is free to attend but a special Kid’s Activity Zone will require a ticket per activity, which can be purchased during the fest. Other activities include dining and shopping at local businesses along the corridor, special pop-up market vendors, and a “Quirkiest Canine Contest” sponsored by Tito’s.
The costume contest starts at noon with registered contestants being judged in categories like Best Dressed, Silliest Trick, and Goofiest Personality Trait. It costs $10 to participate in the contest with all pre-registered contestants receiving a limited-edition contest bandana and the winner walking away with a $500 cash prize. I’ll be one of the judges too, so come correct.
