Residents can have the sidewalks adjacent to their home repaired for free.
To report a broken sidewalk, simply fill out an online Public Works Maintenance Notification HERE and the City will add it to their list of projects. The form can be used to report potholes or curb and sidewalk issues.
According to the City, basic grinding jobs (grinding down bits of sidewalk that are angled up off the ground due to shifting soil or tree roots, can take anywhere between eight to ten weeks. However instances where full sidewalks will need to be replaced can take quite a bit longer due to underground utilities or other infrastructure issues.
