PechaKucha Night Orlando v19
PechaKucha Night is an entertainment event held several times a year in downtown Orlando. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for “chitchat,” PechaKucha rests on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes the presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace. Speakers present their PechaKuchas on any subject, from the personal to the public.
Booktoberfest 2016

Orlando Solar Bears Bear Crawl
The Orlando Solar Bears want to invite you to the Inaugural Orlando Solar Bears Bear Crawl on Friday, Oct. 21. Join us as we kick off the 2016-17 season at four downtown Orlando bars – and then watch the Solar Bears take on the Florida Everblades on Opening Night on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Amway Center!

2016 Orange County Milk Run 5K
This is an off-road race that will be held on former T.G. Lee Dairy property. Participants will enjoy a picturesque journey through a working cattle ranch. Stroll through beautiful meadows, discover hidden lakes, and experience the stunning beauty of nature in this unique fitness event. The name, “Milk Run” pays homage to 4-H’s agricultural background, and the off-road race through a working dairy farm.

Maker Faire Orlando 2016
Maker Faire Orlando is a community-organized, family-friendly celebration featuring local do-it-yourself science, art, rockets, robots, crafts, technology, music, hands-on-activities, and more. It’s an event where people show what they are making and share what they are learning. For our 5th annual event, we are expecting over 300 maker exhibits and more than 20,000 attendees!
New KidsTown Grand Opening Weekend!
Opening on October 22 and 23 to the general public, New KidsTown is taking over the second floor! That’s right, the family-favorite exhibit designed for infant to seven-year-old children to enjoy is growing, and at 11,000 square feet, it will be nearly three times the size of the current exhibit on Level 1!
Central Florida VegFest
Central Florida Veg Fest is an exciting day of colorful and educational exhibits and activities! It will take place at beautiful Orlando Festival Park near downtown Orlando on October 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Admission is FREE! Race for Time
Tough Biker is a charity fundraiser to help at-risk youth through the sport of mountain biking. This event will be an urban time trial race inside the Orlando Fashion Square Mall. Party during and immediately following the race at Strike Outs in the mall. Brackets are: 16-18 – men/women in each (16-17 must have parent/guardian present to race) 19-22 – men/women 23-30 – men/women 30-40 -men/women 40+ men/women Top male and female rider from each bracket compete for overall male/female.

Fleet Orlando Swarm Ride Oct. 23rd
Join Fleet Farming Orlando for our bi-monthly Swarm Ride! This is a free community event that invites YOU out to bike and farm with us in the Audubon Park Community. We meet at East End Market in the garden, then ride out less than a mile away to resident’s front and back lawns converted into productive farmlettes.
