The Orange County Regional History Center (Facebook | Website) will launch their latest exhibition, The Accidental Historian, on September 21, with a focus on how some of the most important historians are the ones that don’t know they’re doing it.

“If you keep a diary, write a blog, take photos, or sketch the world around you, you’re creating the history of tomorrow while you go about your work today.”

– History Center Director, Michael Perkins

The exhibition will feature historic and contemporary work from the Center’s archives that include poetry, artwork, and photographs from historic residents and current-day bloggers like Ricky Ly from Tasty Chomps (Website).

The show will also feature historic images by photographer T.P. Robinson who turned his photo hobby into a full-time career and took photos from early day Nehrling Gardens to Rollins College

The Accidental Historian will be on view from Saturday, September 21, 2019, through January 19, 2020, at the Orange County Regional History Center, 65 E. Central Boulevard [GMap] in downtown Orlando.
