The Orlando Economic Partnership has announced the formation of a new Orlando Tech Council (Website).
The council is made up of private industry, resource organizations, and public partners that will be responsible for developing new programs to promote and strengthen the region’s tech resources.
The news comes on the heels of the recent dissolution of the Central Florida Tech Alliance, formerly the Orlando Tech Association. More on that HERE.
Current council members include Massey Services, Informulate, Orlando Magic, NanoPhotonica, Accenture, and Red Lobster. The council will be led by two Partnership staff members – Sheena Fowler, VP of Innovation, and Vanessa Zabala, Director of Impact Development.
