Food delivery service, Uber Eats, has launched a grant program for struggling restaurants.

The Uber Eats Restaurant Grant Program is currently accepting applications through Sunday, February 28 at 11:59 p.m. and will be providing $4.5 million to applicant restaurants in the form of $5,000 grants.

The grants are only available to Uber Eats or Postmates restaurant partners and are meant to be used for paying rent and utilities, meeting payroll, paying oustanding debts to vendors, upgrading tech infrastructure, and any other immediate operational costs.

Restaurants may not be affiliated with a national brand and must have fewer than five locations; must have a maximum of 50 employees per location; and have annual gross revenues in 2019 of less than $3 million per location.
