The Downtown Orlando Partnership (Facebook Website)  hosted celebrated its 60th anniversary on Tuesday, May 11 by hosting its 32nd annual Golden Brick Awards event, honoring and celebrating the people, projects, and places that have made downtown Orlando a better place in the previous year.

The following 12 projects were awarded bricks for their work:

  • ARTS: JEFRË: Points of Connection
  • COMMUNITY: FAIRWINDS Foundation
  • COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT: Orlando Health Sligh and Copeland Medical Office Complex
  • DIVERSITY: Yesterday, This Was Home: The Ocoee Massacre of 1920
  • HOSPITALITY: HÄOS on Church
  • INNOVATION: Dr. Phillips Center Frontyard Festival 
  • NEW OFFICE DESIGN: RSM US
  • PUBLIC WORKS: Parklets: Expanding Retail Sales
  • REDESIGN + RENOVATION: Net Conversion
  • RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT: The Julian Apartments at Creative Village
  • SPORTS + SPECIAL EVENTS: Bright Young Things + Dazzling Nights 
  • SUSTAINABILITY + RESILIENCY: Lymmo Electric Bus Fleet
