The Palo family, which owns the ever-popular Stasio’s Italian Deli (Facebook | Instagram) in the Milk District, has just signed a lease for a new concept in an empty building at 2300 E. Robinson Street [GMap].

As first reported by Jack Witthaus for Orlando Business Journal, the new concept will be called “Alfo’s Pizza Fritta” and will specialize in a form of flat Italian fry bread with simple yet tasty toppings like marinara and parmesan or cinnamon and sugar.

According to Diana Palo, Alfo’s will be walk-up/take-out service only and will not offer a dining room for on-site mangiare. But I’m going to guess that since it’s just up the street from the Stasio’s mother ship so you’ll likely be more than welcome to grab a seat outside or hop over to Sideward Brewing which is located in the same building.

Alfo’s Pizza Fritta is expected to open sometime in 2022.

NOTE: Stasio’s is currently looking for a new dishwasher – contact them directly if interested.
