APGD Alleys as Public Spaces Strategy Meeting PART II

NOTE: In an effort at capturing feedback from a wide range of stake holders, we’re repeating a meeting held a couple of weeks ago – this is the evening version of the same meeting. Come join us if you missed the first one!

The Audubon Park Garden District is an amazing place to be and everyone has done a great job building community considering how challenged we are for public space. Recently some Rollins planning students studied the two alleys behind our plazas and came up with some ideas to turn them into better spaces, with the idea that the west alley (between the K-8 parking lot and the west plaza businesses) could potentially also be turned into a pop up public space from time to time.

We’d love to get input from the businesses in the APGD, along with community planners, artists, and more as we contemplate activating these spaces so come on out and share your thoughts and ideas.
