CF-JwJ Presents The Art of Solidarity Awards Dinner and Art Show

December 15, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us for Annual Art and Awards Dinner entitled “The Art of Solidarity” presented by Central Florida Jobs with Justice.

It is a night of celebration and honoring Central Florida’s most inspiring grassroots leaders dedicated to improving the lives of working people.

We will be honoring the many labor and community organizations in Central Florida that demonstrated the deep levels of solidarity
needed in this critical year of resistance. This year, we are excited to honor:

Monivette Cordero, journalist and writer for the Orlando Weekly
Sodexo worker leaders at Walt Disney World
Father Roberto Morales, community and faith leader at the St John’s Episcopal Church

The master of ceremonies will be no other than Renata Sago, voice of NPR’s Marketplace. This year’s awards dinner will highlight “The Art of Solidarity” in how working people and communities whose work is making progress toward social justice a reality. The evening will also include a silent auction on social justice art featuring local and national artists. It will also be the highly anticipated election night for the 2017 Scrooge of the Year!
