Halloween: Resurrection – Movie Trash

October 8 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Movie Trash at The Nook present Halloween Resurrection
Saturday, October 8th at 8pm
The Halloween franchise is a pretty crazy thing. Over the course of 13 films it has 3 different timelines, a remake (with its own sequel), and a stand alone anthology film that has nothing to do with Michael Myers. Resurrection is the fourth movie in the third timeline.
Convoluted? Very much so.
But it doesn’t matter with this one. All you need to know is that Michael Myers hasn’t actually been killed in the previous movie (like always) and that Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks are the biggest stars in this, if you don’t count the 3 minutes Jamie Lee Curtis shows up to cash a paycheck.
This entry in the series takes on the world of online reality content by putting a bunch of dumb kids in the Myers house for a night and webcasting it. The site is brilliantly named Dangertainment. Yes, this is the level of writing you are getting into. Obviously Michael Myers eventually shows up to slice and dice.
Easily the worst in the franchise, but arguably one of the most fun to laugh at with a crowd.
All Orlando Pop-Up screenings are free at The Nook… but if you’d like to throw them a few bucks in the form of a tip, it would be super awesome. Seating is limited, so feel free to bring a lawn chair.
