The League of Women Voters Orange County focuses on “Give Me Shelter: Innovative Solutions to Our Housing Crisis” for its premier “Hot Topics” series Wednesday, June 14, 11:30 am at the at the Winter Park Events Center, 1050 W. Morse Blvd, Winter Park 32789. Is there any hope that this problem can be alleviated? The panel will discuss long-term solutions to the local housing crisis that affects renters of all ages and incomes. Moderator is Beth Kassab, editor Winter Park Voice and former Orlando Sentinel reporter. Guests include: Terry Prather, a founding board member of Lift Orlando; Ryan Von Weller, Chief Operating Officer at Wendover Housing Partners; and Mitchell Glasser, manager of Orange County’s Housing and Community Development Division.
