#WKJO3, Summer Session
Explore the art of glass-working during this one-night workshop. Learn solid glass forming techniques as you create a flower. Each petal will be of your own design as you pull the molten glass into form. Each student will learn the basics of glassblowing as they create a one-of-a-kind ornament. Light refreshments will be provided. Artegon Marketplace is located at 5250 International Drive, Orlando, 32819.
Brandon Price is from Akron, Ohio, and began his glass career more than 13 years ago at Bowling Green State University under the tutelage of Robert “Bud” Hurlstone. His love of glass-blowing afforded him the opportunity to work and study in 43 states and on three continents, from a glass studio set on a barge in the Amsterdam canals to the San Juan Islands in the Pacific Northwest. He has studied in quiet mountains in South Africa, and performed on the rocking plains of Tennessee for the Bonnaroo music festival.
