Join us for a lecture with visiting artist Sandra Ramos. Ramos’s work is part of the upcoming exhibition “Displacement: Symbols and Journeys,” which opens at the museum on Saturday, May 21.

Cuban-born artist Sandra Ramos lives and works in Miami, Florida. Her work was recently featured in solo exhibitions at Arizona State University and American University. She has exhibited extensively for over twenty years at venues which include Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín, Colombia; Sheldon Museum of Art, Nebraska; Ringling Museum, Tampa, FL; and Miura Museum of Art, Matsuyama, Japan. Her work is included in the collections of the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Rollins College, Winter Park; the Museum of Modern Art, NY; and The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
