From 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM on the last Friday of every month, the museum is open late til 8! Join us for after hours access to our latest exhibition Anila Quayuum Agha: Flourishing Patterns!
Tour the exhibition with our Curator of Art and Education, Katherine Page! The tour begins at 6:00pm.
Anila Quayyum Agha: Flourishing Patterns presents a large-scale light installation, steel sculpture, and intricate works on paper by internationally renowned artist Anila Quayuum Agha. Agha, a Pakistani-American multimedia artist, explores renewed imaginings of traditional arabesque and geometric motifs inspired by Islamic architecture and design, which yield flourishing forms of light and shadow – patterning that is awe-inspiring.
