Orlando Foundation for Architecture Building Tour

March 24, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$10

One of the missions of The Orlando Foundation for Architecture (OFA) is to provide public tours of exceptional recent building projects, to educate how buildings get designed and built.

Join us on a Sunday afternoon to learn more about this beautifully designed 3,500 square foot space that inspires people to live a healthier and more enjoyable lifestyle.

The Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden is the first of it’s kind in the United States and was built from the ground-up specifically to give children an edible education experience.

The building won the Built Award of Honor for 2018 from the Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Supported by AdventHealth Central Region’s Design & Construction Department, the building was designed by local architect Jose Venegas of JJV Studio in collaboration with HuntonBrady Architects. Other team members included TLC for MEP and Structural Engineering; Poulos & Bennett Civil Engineering; FosterConant Landscape Architects, and E2Homes Contractor. Members of this talented team will be on hand to facilitate the tour, as well as Chef Kevin Fonzo will be in the kitchen.
