Tinsel & Tidings Holiday Decorating Contest

Ready for some fresh holiday fun? This year the Audubon Park Garden District Main Street program (Lord, what a mouthful that is!) is encouraging our member businesses to bring their A game to decorating this holiday season by hosting a decorating contest. The member business with the Best Holiday Window will win $250 cash and the member business with the Best Holiday Interior will also win $250 cash. These prizes are not mutually exclusive, so theoretically one business could win both prizes.

In addition to independent judging, the public will be able to weigh in and vote for the People’s Choice, which is open to every business in the APGD.

Judging will take place during the Caroling for a Cause, Saturday December 22 and the winners announced at the conclusion of Caroling for a Cause at Bikes, Beans & Bordeaux Cafe. Everyone will be able to vote for their favorite overall shop decor (whether a window or interior) through their photographs on Instagram. Just take a picture of your favorite holiday window or interior in the APGD, use the hashtag #apgdtidings, and you’re automatically entered our Tinsel and Tidings gift basket. The People’s Choice contest will continue through December 25th and the drawing held on December 26th.
