Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen (Facebook | Website) opened in the former home of the Ravenous Pig at 1234 Orange Avenue, Winter Park [GMap] in early February, on a strict dinner-only basis. More on the opening HERE.

As of March 7, the fish camp inspired restaurant will also be open for lunch, available 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.

The menu features a rotating selection of seasonally available fresh fish and seafood. The restaurant features a raw bar with oysters on the half-shell, broiled and steamed, ceviche, and peel-and-eat shrimp. The kitchen will always feature Gulf oysters, as well as other species from around the country.

Other “fish camp classics” include fries, coleslaw, fried fish, fried oysters, and Southern staples po’ boy sandwiches (with bread from Leidenheimer Baking Company in New Orleans), grits, okra, and fried green tomatoes.

Reel Fish also offers burgers and steaks, with GMA-free meat sourced from Creekstone Farms.

Reel Fish management told Bungalower at a recent media event that they would begin hosting monthly crawfish boils very soon.
