If you follow our Instagram page, you already knew that the Orlando Science Center has been working on a new Makerspace called “The Hive.”

The Hive is a new hands-on, collaborative workspace that allows guests to use high tech equipment like 3-D printers, laser cutters, soldering irons, and more.

The Hive is recommended for guests aged eight years or older and will be open every day this summer, as well as during special after-hours events like Science After Sundown and Science Night Live.

Access to The Hive is included with general admission, which is free for members, $20.95 for adults, $18.95 for seniors and students, and $14.95 for youth (ages 3 – 11).

The Orlando Science Center is located at 777 E. Princeton Street [GMap] in Orlando’s Loch Haven Park.
