Orlando Critical Mass has used June for a memorial ride since the days of old. Whether to remember our resting brothers, our lost friends, or our fallen family… we ride for those that can no longer ride with us. Over the years it has been an ever evolving and changing event.
This event will feature a presentation — The Alchemy of Dirt — by A&H’s resident eco-urban land artist, Tory Tepp, in the Germaine Marvel Building (GMB). Tory will discuss the evolution of his work and introduce you to some of the professors that led him to eco-urban land art.
Six projection artists come together to create an immersive world of light an sound. Each artist brings a unique, interactive installation that will allow you to experience digital art in a whole new way. Projection artists include Ginger Leigh (Synthestruct), Nathan Selikoff, Matthew Mosher, Sean Kane, VJ OMNI, and Cole NeSmith. Live music — presented with responsive light installations — will happen throughout the evening.

PechaKucha Night is an entertainment event held several times a year in downtown Orlando. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for “chitchat,” PechaKucha rests on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes the presentations concise and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
