Orlando Science Center (Website) has just opened its ambitious new, 10,000 SF nature-focused “Life” exhibit space in Ivanhoe Village.

The exhibit promotes messages of sustainability and conservation reinforced by live animal interactions and hands-on displays and is the largest exhibit construction project in the center’s history. It consists of three distinct animal habitats; Ocean, Rainforest, and Swamp, as interpreted through a free-flight aviary with parrots, and songbirds above, tortoises below, and monkeys all over the damn place.

There is also a 360-degree aquatic habitat with touchable sealife and tons of interactive features. The Swamp exhibit features a squirrel track above the heads of guests that shower little turds every once in a while on people who aren’t paying attention and enter the splash zone. And they have burrowing owls too.

We got a tour last week and you can watch the video below before heading over to see it for yourself.
