SunRail starts running on Thursday with free service for the first two weeks. We’ll be covering the launch of Orlando’s first commuter rail with a series of stories on Riding SunRail.
Over the course of the next couple of days we’re going to give you a photo tour of each of the Bungalower area SunRail stations.
The SunRail stations in the Bungalower area are:
- Florida Hospital Health Village
- Lynx Central
- Church Street
- Orlando Health/Amtrak
The Florida Hospital Health Village station sits one block east of Orange Ave between Rollins St and Princeton St [GMap].
The new Adventist Health administration building will tie the SunRail station into Florida Hospital and Health Village. There is also direct access to the station from Princeton St.
The stop will provide access to Loch Haven Park, Ivanhoe Village and College Park.
None of the downtown area stations have dedicated parking. There are two bus routes that run more frequently than SunRail that you can take to get to the FL Hospital station. One that runs down Orange and another that runs from Mills to Princeton and to Edgewater.
Is there parking for this location?
