The folks who are working on bringing bike share to Orlando later this year are hosting a Dinner and Bikes event in Orlando.
The event includes a gourmet vegan, gluten-free meal from traveling vegan chef Chef Joshua Ploeg. During the meal you will hear from Elly Blue, author of Bikenomics: How Bicycling Can Save the Economy, who will talk about bike activism and then view a series of very-short films by Joe Biel maker of the documentary feature Aftermass: Bicycling in a Post-Critical Mass Portland.
The Fourth annual Dinner & Bikes is a month-long tour of the U.S. East Coast. This is their first appearance in Orlando.
The event takes place Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Envy Labs. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Bungalower members can use coupon code BIKEHALFOFF to save $5 of their ticket (only valid with an e-mail tied to a Bungalower Membership).
