The Gallery at Avalon Island (Facebook | Website), in cooperation with Uncomfortable Brunch (Facebook | Website) have announced a new film program in the upstairs theater at the downtown gallery space.
The first part of the ongoing film series will be Melvin Van Peebles’ early film The Story of a Three-Day Pass on Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. The screening will be part of a celebration of Black History month.
The screening will be preceded by local filmmaker Ricardo Williams’ film Alexander Rising.
Tickets are $5 at the door.
